EAGLE'S NEST MINISTRIES
Eagle's Nest is a non-denominational church that focuses on individual discipleship located in Conroe, Texas. Eagle's Nest also operates a residential re-entry 12 month program for ex-offenders called Soaring Eagles.
WE BELIEVE there is only one God, who exists eternally as a Trinity of three persons: Father, Son, and Spirit. Each member of the Trinity is fully and equally God, yet personally distinct from one another.
WE BELIEVE that God in the flesh, Jesus Christ, was crucified and died on the cross, was resurrected from the dead, and ascended to Heaven.
WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit of God comes to live within a person once they trust in Christ as their Savior. The Holy Spirit indwells all believers to lead and empower life and relationship with God, to secure salvation, and to give gifts that build the church and spread the Gospel.
WE BELIEVE God created men and women to live in relationship with Him, but the first humans chose to rebel against God and brought sin into the world. Sin spread like a virus to all humans, and all have sinned, and that sin separated us from God.
WE BELIEVE that God loves the world, and by His grace, delights and desires to grant forgiveness and eternal life to all who trust in Christ as their Savior. Jesus died on the cross as a perfect substitute for our penalty of sin, and resurrected to overcome the death penalty caused by sin. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ – not being good enough or doing enough good – that a person can be restored to a right relationship with God.
WE BELIEVE that the Bible is God’s Word to us, written by men who were inspired by God. God wrote His Scriptures to reveal Himself to mankind, to communicate with us, and to direct us in His best way to live life.
Eagle’s Nest Ministry began March 1, 2006 as an outreach to the broken hearted. Jeff Williams was given this vision from God to provide a bridge for healing and restoration of wounded hearts. His 36 years of ministry experience, coupled with a 10 year “wilderness” experience equips him as a Pastor to the broken. The years as a “Priest & Levite”, His time in “the Ditch” and His “Good Samaritan” heart has given birth to Eagles Nest Ministry -“The Inn” - Lk. 10:25-35
Eagles Nest Ministry of Conroe is a Spirit-Filled Safe place. It consists of 16 acres filled with trees, streams, ponds, wildlife & multiple facilities for housing, recreation and worship. It is a Christ-Centered environment with a family atmosphere.
At Eagle’s Nest we believe that a personal relationship with Jesus is fundamental to the abundant life. We strive to lead each seeker into that relationship with Christ through discipleship. It begins with salvation and continues by the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. We take seriously our responsibility of teaching them to obey all things – Mt. 28:20. This is accomplished through teaching, accountability and practical application. We seek to establish relationships between Teacher & Student for healing, guidance, instruction and equipping.
We endeavor to glorify God in restoring lives by relying on tested and proven methods. Only two institutions known to man are ordained of God – The home & the Church, so we serve to afford each participant an opportunity to experience God in both. We are a “Home for the hurting” and a Church for the chosen”.
God is our source, Jesus is our model, the Holy Spirit is our guide & The Bible is our textbook. The word tells us to “love God with all our Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength.” Mk. 12:28-30. This truth reveals that at the core of the human experience are emotions (heart), Spirit (soul), thoughts (mind) & actions (physical). God’s best for each of our lives involves the perfect balance of each.
This text and revealed truth is the template for our program.
Phase I - “Healing the Wounded Heart” – Heart
Phase II - “Living the Spirit Led Life” – Soul
Phase III - “Having the mind of Christ” – Mind
Phase IV - “Becoming a living sacrifice” – Body
Each phase consists of 13 weeks and a total of one year to complete the program.
We strongly believe that at the heart of every problem is a problem of the heart! We endeavor to lead each participant into a journey of personal examination, bringing revelation and personal responsibility for change. Jeff and his devoted wife, Cheritza, along with a staff of volunteers, lovingly and prayerfully assist and guide each one in their journey to the cross. Our motto is “Hope Through Change – One Life At A Time”!
