Re-entry Training Program

Soaring Eagles Academy provides a safe and secure environment to men recently released from prison. The 12-month program is designed to help these men overcome life’s challenges and successfully reenter society. During the program, each participant will receive bible teachings, counseling, discipleship, spiritual coaching and job skill development training. In 2014, Eagles Nest Ministries purchased an additional 10 acres where the Soaring Eagles re-entry home and training program currently resides.

Since 2015, seventy-two men have come to find a safe landing place at Soaring Eagles Re-entry Home and Academy. Some have stayed for the entire 12-month discipleship program while some stay for only a portion of it. The men coming into this unique ministry receive countless benefits that markedly lessen the risk of joblessness, homelessness, drug relapse, or re-incarceration.

The struggle of Re-entry:

The transition from prison back to the community remains a monumental challenge. People leave prison with a $100 check, a 10-day supply of medication, a list of community resources, the clothes they are wearing and a bus voucher.

When men leaving prison arrive in their communities, they find barriers to employment, long-term housing, and occupational opportunities. S.E.A.(Soaring Eagles Academy) believes in restoring the whole man and helping him to secure housing, transportation, support systems and employment which enables him to successfully re-enter society.
